Dr. Bisher Abdullah, MD

Dr. Bisher Abdullah graduated from Damascus University School of Medicine in 1989. He has been certified with the American Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology and American Board of Pediatrics since 1995.  Dr. Abdullah has served Residency in the Medical College of Ohio, and Fellowship in Riley Children's Hospital and Indiana University School of Medicine.  Dr. Abdullah has provided care in the South Puget Sound since 1998 and entered private practice in 2014. 

Dr. Heather Buckle, ND

Dr. Heather Buckle graduated from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington earning her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.  She earned the Baccalaureate of Science from the University of Washington in Microbiology.  Dr. Buckle is certified as a Fellow in the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. Dr. Buckle served Residency at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago from 2008-2010 and served as staff at the same facility from 2010-2014. She is excited to have returned to the Pacific Northwest entering into private practice, with the philosophy that GI health is the pinnacle to finding health and balance in the body.

We are pleased to have amazing Registered Dietitians.  Khimberly Schoenacker RD, CSP, CD,  Stephanie Moore, RD, CD and Suzanne Baily-Yin RD, CD.  Our dietitians bring the best in collaborative care treating weight and feeding difficulties, food allergies, IBD, fructose malabsorption, chronic GI illness and more. Option 1 Nutrition Khimberly Schoenacker RD, CSP, CD

Khim Schoenacker graduated from Washington State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Upon completion of her degree, Khim spent three years in Seattle working as a dietetic technician at the UWMC. Seeking adventure, she then moved to Brooklyn, NY working for a year at Cabrini Medical Center. After four years in the working world, she returned to Washington State University to complete her dietetic internship in 2003. Her rotations included clinical at Madigan Army Medical Center, community nutrition at WIC and food management at Mason General Hospital. She was the only student in her internship who was fortunate to have a two week pediatric focused rotation. It was in this short time frame that she knew she had found her calling. Khim has worked at Rady Children?s Hospital in San Diego, CA and Doernbecher Children?s Hospital in Portland, OR. She has worked in GI, feeding, diabetes/endocrinology, eating disorder and weight management clinics. She is especially passionate about children with disabilities as she grew up with a sister who had Cerebral Palsy and required a feeding tube the majority of her life.

Stephanie Moore, RD, CD

Stephanie Moore grew up on the Oregon Coast. It was in high school that she developed a deep appreciation for the affects that proper nutrition had on her physical and mental well being. She attended Oregon State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed a dietetic internship prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian. She started her career as a Clinical Dietitian at Salem Hospital in Salem, OR where she worked with a variety of different conditions including nutrition support, surgical care, inpatient rehabilitation and gastrointestinal. Her personal journey to find gastrointestinal relief has led to her passion to help others do the same. She moved to Washington with her husband and happily joined our team where she practices by the philosophy that food is medicine. 

Heidi Elliott RN, CCRN

Heidi Elliott is a certified Critical Care Pediatric Registered Nurse.  Heidi has worked as a Pediatric Nurse since 2002 and brings extensive experience and knowledge from the hospital and critical care setting.   As part of our patient care team in the clinic, Heidi provides care for advanced care patients and also is pioneering the opening of our Infusion Suite to be located in our Puyallup office.
